Founded by Anne Houben
My love for sighthounds started early. I grew up with two Greyhounds and a Whippet, and as a result, I experienced from a young age what makes these special dogs so unique.
Through my passion for the breed, I came into contact with many other sighthound enthusiasts. In 2005, I started a Dutch Sighthound forum, a community where knowledge, experiences, and photos were shared for years. There, I also discovered that there were few products available that were truly tailored to the unique build of sighthounds.
In 2013, the webshop emerged from a small assortment of products. When the demand for well-fitting sighthound coats grew, I decided to develop my own collection. No standard dog coats, but products designed for sighthounds, with attention to fit, freedom of movement, and comfort.
Rapid Dog Wear has since grown into an international webshop specializing in products for sighthounds. From the Netherlands, we annually ship to customers in approximately 35 countries worldwide.
Our mission has remained the same throughout the years: to develop high-quality products that help sighthounds feel comfortable and that their owners can choose with confidence.
